Position Overview

This North Carolina CRNA locum tenens assignment is ideal for providers seeking a better schedule, strong work-life balance, and competitive pay. Locum clinicians consistently prioritize pay transparency and shift flexibility, and this role offers both within a well-established anesthesia team.

Schedule & Call Structure

• 40-hour workweek

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• One weeknight of call (3:00 PM–7:00 AM)

• Weekend call: 1:5 rotation

• Inpatient only

• Flexible scheduling options to help you build a more manageable workweek

Practice Details

• Established team: 4 experienced CRNAs + 1 MDA

• Approximately 200 surgical cases per month

• No code response responsibilities

• No ER backup

• Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER

Required Skills & Clinical Competencies

• Proficient in labor epidurals

• Skilled in spinal/ITN for obese patients

• Comfortable with pediatric patients

• Procedures include:

  • Epidurals

  • General Surgery

  • Orthopedic Surgery

  • Urology

  • Gynecological Surgery

  • Podiatry

Certifications & Systems

• BLS and ACLS required

• EPIC EHR experience preferred
