Central Maine Family Nurse Practitioner Role-FQHC Near Bangor

A well‑established community health organization (FQHC) in central Maine, approximately 40 miles north of Bangor, is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join its growing primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full‑scope primary care in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment with a strong focus on work‑life balance.

Position Highlights

Schedule:

• Full‑time, 40 hours per week
• 36 hours clinical / 4 hours administrative

Patient Volume: Approximately 14–16 patients per 8‑hour day

Practice Model: Outpatient primary care

Team Environment: Multiple providers at most clinic locations

Call: Telephone call only. One week at a time, approximately once every two months

Qualifications

• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Adult Nurse Practitioners may be considered
• 2+ years of clinical experience
